Irresistibile PIWI – Lazise, April 27–28th, 2025 – Resistant Wines, Authentic Emotions

We’ve just returned from Irresistible PIWI, the event dedicated to wines made from disease-resistant grape varieties, held on April 27–28th in the beautiful setting of Lazise, on Lake Garda. Two intense days filled with encounters, tastings, and conversations centered around a topic very close to our hearts: the sustainable future of wine.

We had the honor of being among the selected wineries representing the world of PIWI wines – the result of grape varieties resistant to fungal diseases, capable of drastically reducing the use of chemical treatments in the vineyard. A choice that for us is not only technical, but also ethical and cultural.

The audience, curious and engaged, warmly welcomed our wines. In particular, our URANO, a red wine made from PIWI grapes Cabernet Volos, attracted great interest for its elegant and complex character and for the story it tells — one of innovation and environmental respect.

During the event, we had the chance to connect with fellow producers, experts, and wine lovers. It was a valuable opportunity to reflect together on how PIWIs are no longer a niche experiment, but a concrete, dynamic — and indeed, irresistible — reality.

A heartfelt thank you to the organizers, the visitors, and all our fellow winemakers with whom we shared ideas, dreams, and glasses of wine. We return home with even more conviction and pride in the path we’re following.

Wine changes, evolves, resists. And so do we.
